It was not a popular seller because the game library had a much smaller variety than the Gameboy Advance. Because of this, the Pokémon Mini and its games are very hard to find and expensive. However, the Pokémon Mini is popular among those who enjoy hacking, reverse-engineering, and creating homebrew games.
